Operating under the Government Traffic Light System

The Government has recently announced changes to its Covid-19 traffic light framework, announcing that it will drop all requirements for My Vaccine Passes from 11.59pm Monday 4 April.

Therefore, from Tuesday 5 April, a Vaccine Pass will not be required when visiting Napier Municipal Theatre.

There are no limits on the number of people who can attend an event or visit a public facility. This applies to both indoors and outdoors.  It is not mandatory to wear a face mask at an event, but you are encouraged to wear it in public indoor settings wherever it is practical.  Our theatre team will continue to wear face masks.

Our team will continue to follow Ministry of Health guidelines to protect you and ensure your visit to the theatre is a safe and enjoyable experience.  We look forward to seeing you, however if you are feeling unwell, please hold off your visit until your symptoms clear to ensure the safety of our community and staff.

There may be guidance changes in the future which we will respond to as required and will keep you as informed as possible.
